Es ist schon kontrovers. Jahrelang waren die Macuser froh nichts mit Windows zu tun zu haben. Aber kaum kommen die ersten Applegeräte mi Intel Dual Core CPUs auf den Markt, scheint die Versuchung groß (wenn auch nicht unbedingt nachvollziehbar) zu sein Windows auszuprobieren. Wer kauft sich ein MacBook Pro, dass um ein vielfaches teurer ist als ein handelsüblicher Mittelklasse PC, um darauf Windows zu installieren? Mir fehlt dazu die Phantasie.
[Update]: Wie es aussieht scheinen die Hacker doch noch nicht ganz so weit zu sein.
Wer dennoch den Wunsch hegt sich mal durchzulesen, wie es denn funktioniert, der möge einen Blick hierauf werfen. Mehr dazu bei David Maciejewski, Oliver Wagner und den Macnews.

Someone suggested that Mac users were weird for never wanting to have anything to do with windows, and now suddenly being interested to try it out on the new intel macs.
I think the majority of people who want to run windows on the mac are PC users, who want to keep using windows because of the applications they own and know how to use, but they would like the much better designed apple hardware to do it on…
Early on, Apple’s notebooks were terrible… Now, they are simply the best. They look great, have excellent port arrangements and all the important features. Just an example: show me one other notebook vendor that puts 6 pin firewire in their Notebooks… Apple has that even in their smallest version.
Mich würd ja eher mal interessieren, wie man OS X auf einem normalen PC zum Laufen bringt. Das wär schonmal interessant, so einen Tripel-Boot aufm Rechner zu haben. :)

As you might have noticed my blog is mainly written in german, that´s why I ordinarly answer in german. But here a few words in english just for you (at this time, if people from all over the globe keep joining my blog I have to think about something else). I mainly agree with your statement(s) macbooks are fast, furious and wonderful in styling but I hardly insist, on the fact that my Samsung X20 does have a 6 Pin firewire slot ;-) I hope you´ll enjoy reading my blog in the future as well. Jop, kann ich nur bestätigen. Ein Bekannter von mir hats auch geschafft (Tiger natürlich gekauft ^^) allerdings wurde die Maus nicht akzeptiert. Aber gelaufen hat es :)

Mag sein, dass es teuerer ist, als ein Billignotebook von NoName aber wenn du dir ein Notebook mit GLEICHER Leistung und GLEICHEM Service kaufst, bist du auch bei 3000 Euro.
